Talking About Elections

In my country now , everyone is talking about Tunisia and it's elections .

Such a huge event , many of us thought about it once , but we never consider that , that day was really soon to come .

Ben Ali was our president since 1987 , for the last 5 years we all know that the change is about to come , but how , when and who this were the questions that no one , was able to answer it .

Kamel Morjen was the famous smart minister who represented Tunisia on the international level , highly recommended by the US responsibles and people in my country thought that he was the coming president .

That was the coming plan till
we got the "Arab Spring 2012 ".
We forgot that when US pick someone or support a candidate in our " Middle east & North Africa "  , they never pick one horse .

It's September 2012 , Tunisia is about to have it's First Historical elections .

Tunisia is about to write it's new story with a different vision , new strategies and several objectives . No plans for the moment but ''they" will find a way , that's what they are saying .

I dont believe in elections , i can't buy the coming scénario , the speech of the coming freedom liberty and democracy is not that easy to swallow for me , but in spite of this i am going to vote 23 October 2011. Still have no idea for which political partie i am going to vote for , but i m engaged toward the process .

Democracy is a basic coming step in the Tunisian history , this is a fact , and people are trying to find their best way to contribute to this periode of change , pure change . Some of them consider that voting is a national responsability and Tunisia is going through a lot now . It's a special periode in which we are supposed to give our best and contribute with higly qualified profiles , performances and plans to save our country from the coming mess .

Let's focus on the most important shareholders of the revolution :What about Media ?

The peformance of media institutions is not appreciated at all in Tunisia Post revolution, Tv's Radio Newspapers and magazines are higly attacked by regular citizens , by simple people , by the first responsibles in the Tunisian goverment and of course by journalist themselves , in few words the accusations are " you are not doing what you are supposed to be doing , you are not being professional at all in reporting and showing the truth "

In between 'they' forgot to precise which truth are they exactly looking for . Who defines the truth and who can jude the way Media is trying to project the events in Tunisia ?

They got their own version of the story ..

As far as i am concerned , i may ask a tiny question : What the Media are supposed to be doing in this periode ?

Is it about leading the public opinion ?
Is it about supporting one candidate against the other ?
Is it about showing only one side of the story ?

It's not only about reporting for sure !!

No matter what are the answers to this questions , i still dont beleive in Elections !
